VEICHI VH600

CODESYS medium PLC, four cores, 128 EtherCAT slaves

A CODESYS-based controller for line-level automation, fully compliant with IEC 61131-3 and PLCopen. Four processor cores can be assigned by task, eight axes synchronise on a 1 ms bus cycle, and the TRACE function with breakpoint debugging makes fault-finding on a live line far less painful.

The I/O that turns a VH controller into a full rack. Digital, analog, temperature and PT modules clip onto the right-hand D-BUS, up to sixteen per controller. Removable terminals mean a failed module swaps out without touching the field wiring.

VEICHI VH Remote Expansion / Remote I/O

EtherCAT and PROFINET remote I/O drops, 125 us cycle

Remote I/O for when the signals are a long way from the controller. A VH-RTU-ECT or VH-RTU-PN head takes up to sixteen modules and drops them onto EtherCAT or PROFINET, cutting the cabinet space needed by roughly two thirds against running everything back to a central rack.

Extra isolated RS485 and a real-time clock

A single board on the left-hand side of a VH controller, adding two isolated RS485 channels and optionally a battery-backed real-time clock. The usual reason to fit one is a second Modbus network, or timestamped logging that has to survive a power cut.
